OUR MISSION "To provide financial support to credible organizations and individuals that Benefit the Welfare of Animals"

The Foundation was formed in 2004 by Mark and Wanda Shefts to honor the memory of their two labrador retrievers. The Shefts' passion for animals led them to create this non-profit foundation, which assists animals in a variety of ways. The foundation lends financial support to:

· Funding of equipment for medical facilities
· Funding for much needed research
· Medical treatment for animals where hardship is present
· Funding of organizations that benefit animals
· Other endeavors that benefit the welfare of animals

100% of your contributions to the Foundation will be directed to fulfill the goals of the Foundation which utilizes only volunteer staff.

All Administrative expenses of the Foundation are paid for the Foundation through donations from the Shefts Family.
Fundraising expenses are paid for the Foundation through donations from the Shefts Family and other corporate / individual sponsors .

The foundation is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization.

A Message from the Foundation

On September 1st, 2004 and October 20th, 2004, Onyx and Breezy, our two beloved Labrador Retrievers passed away at the ages of 13 and 7 respectively.  During their lives, Onyx and Breezy gave us lots of licks, hugs and unconditional love, which we will cherish forever.  The Onyx and Breezy Foundation was created to ensure that Onyx and Breezy are long remembered through the Foundation’s support of those organizations serving the needs of the animals we love.
